The Power Hour is a one-to-one online consultation with me, Vicki Wilkinson - a practising birth and postnatal doula with over 12 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the early weeks of parenthood. It’s your hour, your agenda, and your questions, answered honestly, practically and without judgement.
What can we cover?
Absolutely anything to do with pregnancy, birth or your baby. Some of the things people bring to a Power Hour include:
You’re feeling anxious about labour and want to talk it through with someone who has real birth experience. You’ve had a previous difficult birth and want to process that before your next pregnancy. You’re weighing up your birth options - home birth, birth centre, hospital and want honest information to help you decide. You have questions about your birth plan that your midwife doesn’t have time to answer. You’re struggling with infant feeding and need practical, judgement-free guidance. Your baby’s sleep is overwhelming you and you don’t know where to start. You’re newly pregnant and have no idea what to expect or where to begin. You’re a birth partner who wants to feel more prepared and useful on the day.
How it works
Drop me a message first so we can make sure a Power Hour is the right fit for what you need. Once booked, we’ll arrange a time that suits you and connect via Zoom or phone - whichever you prefer. Sessions last one hour and can be recorded if you’d like to refer back to what we discussed.
