Hello!! Thank you for taking the time to find out more about my journey into birthwork.

I was drawn to the world of babies after my own experiences of birth and those of the new mums I met at baby classes. Although my husband & I attended antenatal classes with our first child, we still felt incredibly unprepared for birth and life with a newborn. And, after speaking to lots of other new parents, I realised what a different experience birth & parenthood can be. So late one night after a lot of soul searching, my passion for birth was ignited when I signed up to train as an Antenatal Teacher with The Daisy Foundation. My aim was (and still is) to provide unconditional
& unbiased support to new parents.

It was on this journey, I discovered my interest in infant development adding Baby Massage and Baby Yoga to my offering. Years on, I have designed my classes to be fun, relaxed, informative, and most importantly a place where new mums feel welcome.
I have also had the pleasure of training many other baby class teachers over the years, developing class plans to be used nationally.

A decade on, I still love all things pregnancy & baby related. I am passionate about ensuring parents have access to credible, evidence based information & that they feel empowered to make decisions & choices that are right for them and their baby.
My business was established in 2013, originally known as The Daisy Foundation - Buckingham, Brackley & Towcester, rebranding in 2022 as Vicki Wilkinson - Birth & Baby. I currently offer a wide range of pregnancy, antenatal and baby services across Northamptonshire & Buckinghamshire.
In 2022, I completed my birth & postnatal doula training and now combine my knowledge and experience to provide support within the birthing environment. I feel it is incredibly important to keep my knowledge up to date, and have completed further training in Aromatherapy for Childbirth, Holistic Sleep for Infants, Water Birth - Knowing Your Rights, Biomechanics for Birth, Essential Knowledge for Preventing Maternal Suicide, Laid back Feeding & Starting Solids. I am also a Hypnobirthing Practitioner & a Peer Support volunteer at my local feeding support group.
I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
As well as birth focussed training, I have also completed my 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training,
85 hour Prenatal Yoga Training. and Mum & Baby (Postnatal) Yoga.

More recently I qualified as a Sleep Practitioner and hold a Level 6 OCN Qualification (If you are wondering what this means, it's the highest level of qualification in this area & similar to degree level). Using my knowledge and experience, I bring a truly holistic approach to sleep support.
I currently offer group & private antenatal classes, birth & postnatal doula services, feeding support, pregnancy & postnatal yoga, sleep consultancy and baby massage.
Work with me and I will help guide you through your journey.
Whether you choose antenatal sessions before birth, me being by your
side at your birth or supporting you once baby arrives.
